Rebecca Clayburn, former reviewer, lives smack in the middle of Illinois corn country. Working at the University of Illinois Rare Book and Special Collections library gives her ample opportunity to indulge in her bibliophile tendencies. She loves getting to work with the old books and the rare documents the library has. She has always been an avid reader since her grandmother taught her to read at 4 years old, using Uncle Wiggly and the Arabian Nights for a primer. Her home bulges with books, witch dolls and a burgeoning collection of fantasy and folklore themed movie videos. She has written short stories and poetry for some local small press magazines.
