Paul Brandon, Reviewer, was born in Kent, England but now lives in Australia . His first short story appeared in the World Fantasy Award-winning anthology, Dreaming Down Under. The story itself, "The Marsh Runners", was short-listed for both the Aurealis and the Dittmar awards. His debut novel Swim the Moon was short-listed for the William L. Crawford Award, presented annually to the best new writer of fantasy. His second novel, The Wild Reel, is an urban Irish myth-based fantasy set on the streets of Brisbane. In addition to writing, he also plays Celtic music and can regularly be found with a Guinness strumming out tunes until the wee hours.
