JoSelle Vanderhooft is a freelance journalist, poet and fiction writer with an insatiable wanderlust and an obsession with skulls, deserts, Mormon history and the Elizabethan era. Her articles and book reviews have appeared or will appear in such publications as The Salt Lake Metro, Q Vegas, The Pedestal Magazine and The Salt Lake Tribune. Her poetry and fiction has appeared in Jabberwocky, Simply Haiku, Reflections Edge and Star*Line.
When not writing, she can often be found working behind the scenes of a local production as a crew person, sound board operator, dramaturg or theatre educator. It is also rumored that she is working towards a certification to teach yoga.
She enjoys the History Channel, graphic novels and playing with her four cats: Miss Asia, Boswell, Nemo and Oscar.
