Little Bit of This. . . .

And a little bit of that.

Let’s start off with a local band — local in northwest England, that is. We have a new release from Bill Malkin and The Band Wagon, Those Glory Days.

Next we have a book by Stan Nicholls and Joe Flood that falls just short of being a graphic novel: Orcs: Forged for War. Just your ordinary grunts.

We’ve also got a collection surveying the career of one of science fiction’s grand masters, Philip José Farmer’s Up the Bright River.

And next we move into high fantasy with two new works by C. S. Friedman, Wings of Wrath and Legacy of Kings. Surprises galore, it seems.

And for you folk tale fans, we have an intriguing collection, Folk Tales and Fairy Lore in Gaelic and English from James MacDougall and George Calder. Yep — it’s a bilingual edition, so you won’t even need your Gaelic/English dictionary.

Well, it looks like our reviewers have been busy over the holidays, so there’s more to come. Check back soon.
